Can someone please tell me when North Adelaide lose agame and blame the umpires that's OK but tonight i've done nothing different to the carp north supporters have done previously but that's not OK for Eagles to do. Some of you Rooters fans need to get a life - it's going to be good beating you in the Preliminary Final.

I don't think there will be too many North supporters that would disagree by arguing that the umpiring was good today. It wasn't.

I am also amazed we won the game. We didn't look like scoring for a while but our supporters are awesome, what an atmosphere on the hill.

Oh and btw the Eagles supporters standing in front of the Chappell stands were perhaps the biggest whiners I’ve ever heard. Right from the first minute they were almost in tears about the umpiring. Wanted to cover my ears it was that annoying.

Have to agree with you there. I moved at half time to get away from their annoying whining. I then went in front of the scoreboard where at least I had the majority of supporters on my side.

OK, mate, I'll explain it to you, and I'll type it very slowly for you.

If you have an issue with the umpire when you lose a game by less then a goal and you go through and analyse the enire game from start to finish detailing exactly what decisions you disagreed with at what time of the game and how they cost your team a goal, that's fine, especially when your team gets less free kicks than the other not to mention getting no goals as a result of a free kick when the other team gets 10 goals as a result of a free kick.(especially not just taking into account frees that cost your own goals side but detailing exactly how many goals the umpires cost the opposition too)

When you come out and say you have an issue with the umpring when you've got 7 free kicks than the other side and don't have any analysis to back it up you look like a complete dickhead.

It's not rocket science mate, I hope I explained that slowly enough for you.

75 frees, incredible. They say that the team in control of the play generally gets the most frees, for obvious reasons, and when it is over-umpired like that, it stands out even more. It would be interesting to analyse how many frees North got in the first twenty minutes and then the last forty, against how many the Eagles got in the second and third quarters -the periods that each team controlled the game - would be massive discrepancies I reckon, empahsised by the over-umpiring.

I think you need to pull a tape of the earlier encounter out of the cupboard watch it again and re-analyse mate because your first analysis was carp. By the way there's no need for sarcasm mate. I'm not dumb or slow for that matter mate I just call it the way i see it. It's not about the number of frees it's where there paid wedgie. I do believe you stated that yourself after our earlier game this season. The same could be and should be said about today's game.

Actually, that is a very good statement which Im sure all North and Eagles fans will agree with.

And I'm equally as sure that we'd all agree that it'd be nice if the umpire either let a game go between these 2 clubs or called a game consistently.

2 great sides who play great footy yet in all 3 games this year to a different degree it felt like we were paying to see the umpires play.

Calling all Roosters!!! Are we happy with the umpiring today. Do you have something to complain about. When the game was on the line today the umpires influenced the game. The final margin of 7 points makes me sick when I know that North got more than 7 points given to them from poor umpiring decisions. The umpiring in the second half was woeful and the comeback by North can be definately attributed to that. After today I don't possibly think any North fan can have any reason to complain about umpiring decisions costing them game ever again.

umpirers had no bearing on the result,hence the result.

Umpiring evens up over the course of a year you win some you lose some ..... maybe today went our way compared to it going the other way last time we played

Regardless, the two teams are clearly evenly matched and time will tell if there's a re-match this year - we'll see who comes out on top then
