Steven won a BnF at Melbourne, 1987.
I remember him in the State of Origin games. Always played well.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Be nice but I can’t see it happening Was hoping Broadbent would come home not sure about that either
Pity, he still has something to give at SANFL level.
Slightly off topic, but he's a player who never reached his full potential. Went at pick number 2 (IIRC), but only 89 AFL games in 10 seasons, and 10 games since the end of 2013.

Too many injuries. Missed 2 years of footy so that makes it tough.

Even more off topic Trent Goodrem won the 2009 Jack Oatey for his tagging job on 18 year old Trengove. He was such a gun junior highly contributed towards Sturt making the GF that year.

I seem to recall Trengove having a bit of the ball in that GF, but just chipping it sideways, as if he were already playing in the AFL. Having said that, Centrals may have flooded back a bit when Sturt picked up the ball in midfield.
Out of all the talent the SANFL has seen in the last twenty years, Trengove, Cooney and Hurn were the 3 youngesters (under 18) who made the biggest impact at league level imo.
