2019-20 NBL Season + Off-season news

7515 is a great crowd for 5pm against the Wallabies QF.
If it was 7pm I and a lot of others would have gone.
Can see the record being easily broken this season.

Have to disagree amber around 3/4 full first up in a twilight timeslot this early in the season is great arguably fantastic.

Interest in the NBL always starts off slowly for the first 1-1.5 months of the season it's not until footy is well and truly in the rear view mirror and before cricket has really kicked in around mid-November is when interest both crowds and TV viewers starts to pick up.

New team SE Melbourne got 6,000 to their first home game which they were crowing about the biggest home opening crowd for a new team in NBL history, if we average say 7.5k across the season that would put us behind only Perth, Melbourne United and maybe Sydney for biggest crowds in the NBL.

7,500 is a good crowd.

I like the time slot as you can head out for tea afterwards which we’ve done.

Oh I will be when I'm not working and have some time off, I'll be paying for that boozey experience down one end of the court, I like the look of that.

I miss working in corporate courtside at 36ers games two years ago, was my fav job of all time. Ironically at the time I was working at the Ent Centre too.

Yeah the prancing pony bar/seats looks great.
Apparently it’s $250 a ticket which is entry with great seats, booze and food.

I’m going to do it later in the season.

Great move by joey in the 3rd to shut down Brooks by taking Randle off.

Randle has never been able to guard anyone. Think he has dropped off considerably offensively as well, not sure this is the great signing everyone thought it was. Might sell tickets early but not winning enough games to compete in my opinion.
