Went to the Little Bang Brewery in Stepney last night, which I hadn't heard of until a couple of days ago. Worth a gander if you're a beer-hound who's yet to visit.

Huge selection of great beers to choose from (coffee oatmeal stout was tasty, chocolate porter did what it said on the tin, and I can't wait to try the 12% 'Sludgemonster' stout), and a good space with plenty of room for punters and a space for bands/entertainment. Also, they've just opened their kitchen - the food is yummy, but unfortunately quite overpriced ($15 for a bare-basics burger without chips).

After using my bonus to book flights to NZ next week I was shocked to receive another smaller bonus today. A little bit more spending money never hurts. Now to get through these last 3 days of work before we nick off

I dipped out on our recent pay increase because I got a substantial rise in February, I said to my manager that I thought it was bullshit as I felt underpaid and pigeon-holed to my role prior to that, he agreed and was pissed off so he went and seen the GM, he came back with $500 worth of gift cards for me for the time being.

I'll take them for now.
