Not sure how North's game will handle the wind, I think I prefer rain to wind when it comes to our game, will be a big toss to win.

spell_check wrote:That was an abject lesson in shooting for goal in a cross wind today. How many times we missed to the right hand side, it's incredible. Then, in the last, North made the allowance for the breeze and the goals were on the board. I knew we blew the match in the third, because like Glenelg, North can pile on the goals when needed. And that's what happened. Flick back through this thread, and what I said is what eventuated.
At least the double chance can be used, as Aerie said though, it will be tough next week.

Heard on the radio, that the wind dropped quite a bit in the last qtr. If true, then that would have helped North's kicking.

I don't care if it did or not, I don't think the flags were any different, anyway, we blew the chances in the third, North capitalised in the last.

He was absolutely sensational and IMHO was the main reason for the Eagles getting 5 goals up in ordinary conditions (probably a 12 goal lead in normal conditions) and kept fighting it out.
Didn't see much of him late in the game when he was on the other side of the ground but easily BOG for most of the game IMHO.
