Sadly if that's what does eventuate I think the Crows have probably done alright and are on the right track. Jacob, Betts, Douglas, Ottens aren't part of their next premiership side.

What are peoples thoughts on their being such a high turnover a few weeks before a new coach is announced. Should the new coach have had more say in such a high list turnover or is it not a big deal.

Yeah I'd think a new coach would want to have a chat with those names & try to convince them to stay. You'd almost wait til after the draft & trade periods to see what list we end up with before applying.

At the moment the only one that's factual is Sauce, everything else is speculation. All the players on that list have said they want to stay but are getting longer/bigger deals from other clubs. I'd leave my work for a bigger pay and more security. Be interesting to see if any of them eventuate once the coach is announced.

To me its a pick in the 90s or something to get him to the club of choice like we did with Hodge and Mitchell. Crows are that desperate to get him off the books they would send him and a draft pick for nothing in return apart from salary relief.
