the Kanga's record was not good in this respect, the loss of Jones will hurt

Hawks with all the the momentum and too many big guns

If the hawks do get up then with will be interesting in the fact that 2 of the top for sides would go out in straight sets. Interesting, still the game is yet to be played. I still think it will be a good contest.

Will be like watching Roger Federer tonight.Hawthorn will dispose of the opponent to make it an inglorious straight sets exit.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

looking towards the second half, the keys are

Kanga's - Wells and Harvey
Hawks - Hodge and Buddy

which every quinella have the biggest influence on the second half, I believe that side will win

the Crawford / Simpson match up, Laidley needs to address this, Crawford is carving the Kanga's up through the middle

Its Crawford/Sinclair SD....

interesting that the Roos went with a similar type on Buddy as the crows did and having much more success, its teh delivery at the end fo the day

even money ball game form here, fear the Roos should be further ahead now...

Yes, I was thinking the same thing too watching the 1st half

That was one of Craigy's points during the week - in fact Massie held Buddy in the 3rd quarter like the Roos have tonight so far

Let's not get off topic tho ..... Roos showing great shin-boner spirit to come back after last week. Hawks getting some momentum late in the quarter - I like the Roos from here as the Hawks may tire with some of their players carrying injuries.
In between signatures .....

In the first qtr, simpson was definitely running with crawf

Regarding the Buddy v Gibson match up, one thing the Kanga's are doing a lot better than Adelaide, is other defenders leaving their man to help Gibson and create a 2 on 1 contest, this is were the crows missed Bassett

Durtchy, you have to be happy with the ride the Kanga's have got from the umps, the last free to Edwards was a shocker, same with one earlier in the game to Pettrie, and the missed free to Hodge in the goal square

agree, the roughead decision was poor, just on roughead, he does have a rough head, his hair cut is a real "Barry Crocker"

Clarkson would be spewing, Crawford hit on Harris was un-discipline and costly, very poor example from a senior player, he has let the club down badly, I missed the lewis incident

Special mention to Rawlings, his game on Hodge has been OUTSTANDING, he has kept Hodge down on touches and hurt he going the other way

Kanga's have made the running of the game and their own luck

Harvey's free kick was very soft, our game is becoming like Rugby (very technical)

Kanga's have kicked 4 goals from free kicks inside 50
