He did mention that Dangerfield was overrated so flaccidness has set back in

Only have to look at Pendlebury kicking the goal in the 3rd on Dangerfield. From the restart Danger bursts out of centre for the quick reply and dribbles a kick 20m that misses the target by 20. They played on each other, Pendles easily won the battle. The prosecution rests your honour.

Without Danger tonight Geelong lose by plenty. I don't like him either but he's a hell of a player and if he was wearing a poo's and wee's jumper you would change your view without hesitation.
The only good thing is in the lead up to the match, Scott said this was his team. Only 4 remain from last Flag. So now if he fails to deliver a flag this year, the heat goes on. Regardless of his contract. We have a shit game plan. We looked l like collingwood circa 2011, slow and boundary riders. We look much better when the ball moves quickly. No point having defensive forwards if the F50 is too congested to even block it in.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Betts isn't Ablett and Ablett isn't Betts, but, you can see both of them in the same position. Ablett has been much more consistent this year, but when the heat was on he was fumbly and like Betts has done this year, had no impact on the contest.
Jack Martin has nominated Carlton apparently. I really think he can be a decent player but his asking price and what the Suns will want is far too much

Agree. We'd need to get him pretty cheap $'s and draft pick wise to make this worthwhile.

The suns wont want to be seen as giving away established players, especially after last years lyons/lions trade. They will ask for a fair bit under the table while keeping the image above that he is required. Remember this kid was going to be the next great thing when drafted.

Yep, they won’t budge on a first rounder rounder for him. Rumours he is after $600k plus a season also

His numbers dropped right away late in the season, great tackle average though.

$600k. Odd. Years ago you'd have to be a star to get that, now he's not even an established player but wanting that money. In comparison Weideman wanted similar amounts at Melbourne (rumoured). That's a lot of money to pay a player based upon potential alone.
Anyway, in other odd Carlton news, we seem hell bent on going for senior players, whilst letting Daisy go. He must feel slightly aggrieved. It's not like our backline is our strongest area.

Yeah once Merrett I think it was commented on it today I thought yep he's gone. Buddy on 1.3 next year, youd assume Daniher aint going for less than 1, doesn't leave much room for anyone else, no wonder theyre lobbying for COLA again.
