Sounds like the whole game was exciting to watch.

Finishing just in time for the start of the Aussies innings in the Twenty20.

Well done Collingwood

Time to change channels

If the scores were level after the two five minute halves, they would have played another two five minute halves. That would continue until a winner had been decided.

BRILLIANT GAME! My heart felt like it was going to explode towards the end of the 4th qtr. Eagles did an amazing job to deny a Pies score in the final minute so they did well to make ET.

The Eagles had the game in their hands with 5 minutes left in the third term. Up by 22 points and Hunter was running into goal, the result, on the full. That would've sealed the game. But he missed and the Eagles lapse which allowed the Pies to score 3 goals in the final 5 minutes cost them the game.

But Matt Rosa's kick to give the Eagles the lead with 4 minutes left in the last term was CLUTCH. But in Extra Time, Staker blew any chance they had by missing from 15 out.

Whether you like them or not you have to admire the Wood's, they are a very plucky mob when they're playing near to their desired level ... The kids they have introduced in recent seasons in Cloke, Pendlebury (sp?), Godsack, Shaw, Clarke etc are exceptional, and the wise old heads of Burns, Buckley, Lockyer, O'Bree and co rarely let them down ... Whilst they would still be confident, the Cats will have lost their "homeground" (used loosely) advantage next week.

Really, really impressed with Clarke. Doesn't make mistakes, has great skills, great composure and countless times tonight he picked the ball off the deck without fumbling. Classy youngster.

LOL I wonder if, with his Gaelic background, he's been teaching Heath Shaw how to handball? :D

Saw two throws from Shaw tonight. They were almost too obvious to be called.

What about Bucks' little flick on the boundary line? I remember thinking at the time, gee he should know better than that.

Last night's loss the first time WC have been knocked out of the finals with a loss at home.

Bundled out in straight sets and now could be an end of an era if Judd goes home

Yeah will it will strange that the team finished top and wont play a final at home. But if th cats play like they did last week then it wont matter. Although collingwood were good enough to win last night the amount of skill errors that both sides made last night was huge. If they do the same next weekend agains the cats then it could get very messy.

I think west coast really need to look at getting something to help out that forward line, although Lynch, Hansen and staker are good players they dont have that player like cloke, mooney, Franklin that does the job consistantly. So if they do get a few first round picks, i would suggest they would look in that direction.

True

Still, Judd would be a huge loss they don't look as dangerous without him
