Zak Jones has supposedly told his manager that he will be requesting a trade to North Melbourne during the upcoming trade period, knocking back an offer from the Saints.

The 2 clubs will get to work on a suitable trade, with the Roos already planning to depart with Mason Wood, and Sydney showing significant interest in him already, there’s every possibility Tom Papley would come into trade discussions also, as a package deal.

Has talent to burn but simply doesn’t show it enough. Has only played 57 games in 6 seasons (18 this year) and is injury prone.
He’s well & truly behind Brown, Larkey & Zurhaar. If Hosie comes on next year & they happen to get Papley there simply won’t be a need for him.
