I’d get rid of Matt first
COMLETELY agree. Matt is just a mid range mid. Brad is quality and more damaging IMO. Maybe that's why they're shopping him around, for two first rounders where Matt might only get one (or one and a second rounder).
Can't remember who said it a few weeks ago but seriously the Crows could be 1, 2 and 3 in the draft (and they got laughed at). I'd be throwing the kitchen sink at getting the first drat pick off of GC - who will be looking to trade anyway. Melbourne's pick no so sure how to get that one from them. Jenkins (and a pick or player) perhaps to Melbourne?
The Douglas and even Daisy Thomas thing doesn't make sense to me. Why wouldn't you just play the last game and then look to seek a trade for pick 92 (like Hawthorn did with Mitchell et al)? At least the clubs get something for them.

Agreed Matt is a possession chaser and he sucks the ball from team mates in the wrong spots, he's one of those classic players that gives to a team mate who isunder the pump so that the team mate has to give it back to him, he then proceeds to kick it down the throat of the opposition. If somebody wanted to give them anything inside pick 20, take it and run

Brad Couch is not worth 2 first round draft picks.

More like no speed and not great footskills. Which is fine in a side where you have other variations. The Crows don't.

As a Crowd supporter i am more than happy for the Club to be super aggressive and potentially drip off for a couple of years. Offer up Tom Lynch, see what comes up for him. Move Jenkins on, even if they have to pay a part of his wage. Happy for them to put Brad on the market, Matt unfortunately won't be worth much. Move a bunch of players on and load up with picks, get quality kids in and try and make a play for Lukosious and rebuild.
Out: Otten - retired Douglas - retired Mackay - moved on Jacobs - moved on Jenkins - already out the door, who knows what you could get. Depends on which club he goes to Crouch (either) - see what you can get - 2 picks, maybe a 1st and 2nd rounder for Brad Lynch - could get a late 1st round but more than likely high 2nd round Hartigan - late 2nd round, early 3rd round Greenwood - mid to late 2nd round
Give Sloane the captaincy outright and that gives them the flexibility to pick Fog instead of Tex
If the Club thinks they have the personnel to just slightly tinker and be good enough to have another tilt then they are kidding themselves and will lose a bunch of support. Be honest and transparent with the members and fans and tell them they are going in a direction to rejuvenate and rebuild and the support will follow. I for one as a supporter would rather see a drop off in wins but a spike in getting fresh talent in the door

You had me convinced until you said Hartigan, late 2nd early 3rd. If he got delisted no one would even rookie list him. Greenwood will only be a 3rd rounder at best more likely 4th round. Unfortunately for the Crows I feel there is a lot of Akermanis in his last year at Brisbane about Jenkins. Either trade me to where I want to go or ill stay for another 2 years. This will result in you taking unders for him. If you can get his whole salary off your books you've done well.

Now that it's finally over this is what I hope the Crows do but know they won't.
1. Sack Pyke 2. Take the co-captaincy off Tex so we at least have the option of dropping him next year 3. Trade Jenkins, Greenwood, Couch x 2 and/or delist CEY, Milera, Mackay and whatever else for draft picks 4. Play Chayce Jones in Betts' spot but keep Betts on the list as a 'crowd puller' for the re-build 5. If untradeable keep Jacobs on the list as our SANFL ruckman only to be picked if ROB gets injured
