Fair enough. Good for the winner I guess. An extra game on the oval the 2nd Semi will be played on

Going to make it harder to manage logistics with even less time to get from St Marys to Salisbury with the times changed as well. It works out better for Valleys as they gain an extra 30 minutes between games.

You knock off KFC and SFC you deserve to finish 3rd.

and did..very polished performance versus the top team saturday..

in the A grade we got a good look at a salisbury team that had caused trouble for every side at different stages this year, when they click they move the ball really well, sleeping giant, absorbed our good start and just ran and ran..finished very strongly as noted by other posters..we will be up against it to reverse the result away from home in 5 days time but go there with some confidence having won by 10 goals in round 9..

Not that I wish to take anything away from your B grade, but looking quickly over the Salisbury lineup, that's a grossly undermanned side they put out there.

In other news, shout out to Trinity - fair effort Saturday from them.. They're in my top 5 clubs I love to hate (probably behind Pulteney & CBC), but hard not to respect their performances on the weekend.

Having dealt with tough seasons in the past - especially last year - I know how hard it is come last game of the year, when things aren't going right they tend to go really bad - injuries, unavailabilities etc. With relegation looming and nothing to play for, it would've been easy for TOS to take the easy path and forfeit their B grade.

Instead they rocked up with a full side, had one hell of a crack, deserved to win to be fair but we kicked one late to steal the win.. they then had 9 players back up and play in the A grade. Whilst they ran out of legs and the scoreline blew open, their 2nd qtr was brilliant with a 3 goal to 1 effort which threatened to cost us 2nd spot as HV were piling on the goals up the road.

Long drive from Evanston to Morgan Oval knowing you have to play 8x quarters against a club playing finals, last game and on a hiding to nothing.. but they did and i'm impressed.

*sigh

your club earns a triple header finals day and then hosts it at a competitors club because their oval suits you better?

i think thats a misdiagnosis, i think you play better on a smaller deck, just my opinion and im happy to be proven wrong..all 3 opposition sides this week will welcome playing at st marys not at morgan oval..hope it works out for ya! :)
