Exactly. If Brett Burton is still at club next year will be amazed, he has to go surely!

I'd imagine sending 40 odd people to an exclusive mind training camp wouldn't be cheap and Chapman, Fagan, Riccuito, Burton and Pyke all must have had a say in it going ahead or not.

Interesting he mentioned he was in Melbourne Sunday on 5AA this morning and the boys didn't pick up on it and question him, it was almost like he was inviting the conversation.

They played in Melbourne Saturday so why would this be unusual?

Hartigan meh,

Keath has improved a lot and surely ‘owes’ the club when no one else took a punt on him

Not sure Keath "owes" the club.

Like saying Tim Kelly owes Geelong because no other team gave him a go.

Think we have moved past this type of loyalty, players only have short time in this game so need to set themselves up for life.

Cant stop Alex at his age not taking a potential 4 year deal at $600k a year when Crows wont offer anything like that. Good luck to him if he gets it!

Kelly is a footballer

Keath was a cricketer who Adelaide picked up on ‘spec’ as a Cat B rookie

He didn't, he played at Glenelg Oval on Saturday, must have flown over Saturday night or Sunday morning......

Chatting with mates and we're all comparing our Top 5 market worth Crows players. I went:

1. M Crouch
2. Talia
3. Laird
4. Doedee
5. B Crouch or Milera

Be interested to see what others think

There's only two that the Crows could afford to be without though from that group.

Adelaide Crows 2019

Post by Jim05 »

Blight was on SEN this morning and said trade both Crouch’s to the Suns for pick 1&2 and maybe a couple of sweeteners.
Crows would have picks 1,2 and 4 to get some real decent youth in and they could be back contending within a couple of years.

Blight is that close to yelling at clouds it's not funny. It's embarrassing the decline in his ability to talk football.

Trade your 2 best players for the year? Blight has gold coast bias not crows bias

He wanted them to put pimples on the balls a year or so ago to make it easier to handle in wet weather.

I think he is on the mark here though.
You need a massive overhaul and no one is coughing up decent picks for your trash. If you want quality youth coming in you will have to trade out some quality

MW's right, Blight is cooked. Even if you consider his proposal do you think Crouch and Crouch are worth 1 and 2? No, they simply aren't.

Adelaide will have to move players of quality and the right age to get picks, but they aren't getting 1 and 2 for the Crouch's.

Unless GC offer both boys massive contracts they will not want to go there. And GC will not give picks 1 & 2 for them.

They gave up pick 2 for Lachie Weller FFS!
If the Suns use pick 1&2 in the draft they will only get a couple of kids who will leave after a year or so anyway.
I reckon they would jump at the chance of getting 2 big bodied mids in there and maybe a couple of sweeteners.
Getting players like the Crouch’s to agree to going up there is the hard part though I do agree.
