First and second sides won comfortably, third side was beaten by a very good Salisbury side.
Lot of blokes at Blues who need to have a genuine hard look in the mirror and answer to the man looking back, and frankly some need to pull the silver spoon from their mouth and jam it up their arse coz they ain’t all that and do **** all to progress the club.

Bad kicking is bad football.
Look forward to watching the pathetic umpiring effort again when the game uploads.
Not Wrong with the umps I don’t think I’ve ever seen a deliberate out of bounds paid in this league ever until yesterday.
The same umpire also didn’t realise you don’t have to wait for the flag to be waved from a kick out after a point was scored. Comical
Oh and apparently receiving handballs are now classified as marks.
It’s Round 15 you would think they should understand the rules pretty clear by now.
Good luck to any side who have these muppets in the finals.
You should have been a Smithfield yesterday as a deliberate out of bounds was played also!! I not sue how your 2 could have been worse the 2 we had. They needed to do the reserves grade and they might have kept up.
It was good contest at Smithfield only ruined by the 2 umpires, Smithfield have some very good players. I think it was only fitness that got Hope Valley over the line yesterday. I was told Smithfield only had 7 players at training on Thursday night for 3 sides, not sure true this is but that want someone from there club told me.
Must admit I’ve seen deliberate paid more than once over the last couple years - The times I’ve seen it paid though there has been absolutely no doubt it was blatently deliberate. I thought the reason why it wasn’t done previously in reserves at least was because of club based umpires and their interpretations. When it’s been league umpires I’ve seen it paid numerous occasions.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

1.8 in the second quarter (mostly from set shots) left the door ajar and Pulteney were cleaner and more efficient. No complaints from our end (except towards ourselves).
Umpiring was hilarious. Can confirm that marks were paid from handballs, kick outs were called back when the ball had gotten to the wing (incorrectly) and deliberate out of bounds was paid (with an identical one five minutes later not paid). Was glad it didn’t impact the result though.
It’s heating up with 3 weeks to play. Realistically with 3 weeks to play with 4th to 6th is too hard to call and two key head to head match ups both involving Lockleys will determine that final spot. Looking at the draw, in 2 weeks even if Hope Valley drop the game to Pulteney they should still hold 2nd spot - Last weeks big loss to Kenilworth really hurt the Blues healthy percentage which was a big advantage for them.
On the weekend in the reserves at Kenilworth I saw the exact same scenario which happened at Hope Valley the week prior. The ball was kicked, siren went and the ball then sailed over the line and out on the full in the defensive 50. The umpires decision......... Out on the full and a shot on goal!
