I am 34 + Conglio vs Larkey. The only thing that can **** me now is Coniglio a late out.
Delicious pulled of a sensational win over the ladder leaders Benny Rolfs in the match of the round in a three point nailbiter that might have secured valleys the double chance this season. Inner Sanctum replaced Hondo in the top four after they secured an important win over fellow top eight side Richo Richo Man who seem to drop matches when the top four appears to be in reach.
A couple of struggling sides earned themselves important victories, no more so than last ranked Honey Badgers who condemned an out of for REBCats to a fourth straight loss. Mediocre at Best recorded their first win for several weeks against a battling Captain Who while Q Before You finally broke through for a win with a key four points against Longwood Lions who are back in the relegation zone after losing a match to his key rival.
Chicken Twisties were most impressive against the Sharks who weren’t and Poon just keeps rolling along as they cleaned up Has Been without too many issues. Buddy Franklin has started to get some genuine momentum now and are eyeing off a spot in the top eight once again. FISH are back on the winning list with a win over Eckys who will now spend another week on the outside looking in.
Gutsy work valleys! Turned down Gawn's 150 to roll me with Grundy. I knew Grundy would go big but after last round went conservative and guessed incorrectly again. Still think that's the way to go more often than not but got bitten on the arse this week.
Last season Chicken Twisties overcame a slow start to the year to gatecrash the Division I finals and eventually they qualified for the Grand Final and consequently, Hogg Premier League. Ah, all very well to do it in Divvy I but let's see you try that shit here! However, it seems like the chook man is up to his old tricks because after a slow start here he is in the last bye week topping the Hogg in scoring and smashing his way into the top eight. Ha! But the joke's on him isn't it? It's only round 12 dude you are a bit early. Plenty can go wrong in five weeks, I should know.
Other teams who have been going disgustingly well is my mate Poon. And hasn't he let me know all about it as I rack up loss after loss. Anyone would think I've had a slight piss take at his expense once or twice over the past decade. Heaven forbid! Seriously though Poon is flying and if he can win it he will make history as the winner of the first Hogg title and this year...unless he chokes which I sincerely hope he does. Come on Benny Rolfs don't let me down!
Other sides who are looking good include former champion Delicious as well as Hondo who somehow still hasn't won this comp. The battle at the fag end of the comp is really firing up as well now. Q Man is all of a sudden winning matches which put the heat right on Longwood and Badgers but don't worry Mediocre at Best you've got the REBCats this week...just go the opposite of my captains call and your home. Bitter? Yep, bit him too! Still, I shouldn't complain too much, spare a thought for Richo Richo who, not for the first time scored well enough to beat most but got trumped once again. Now there's a win for REB surely.
regards,
REB

Don't worry about the twisties I am down to crumbs trying to field a competitive team after some poor selections to the initial squad, any injuries and and she's all over. Happy to take a scalp though along the way.

You were always gonna get the W, you were playing a team of spuds. At least I got to see the Cats win at Kardinia on Friday night, that was my W for the weekend
The finals may be four weeks away but perhaps the top four positions were decided in Round 13 of Hogg Premier League action. Benny Rolfs went one game clear after a decisive victory over fifth ranked Inner Sanctum which meant they fell 8 points behind fourth ranked Hondo who defeated Poon in the match of the round. The other top eight sides all managed to salute even the woefully out of form REBCats who their first match in six attempts at the expense of the struggling Mediocre at Best.
The teams all outside the eight were rolled but this was good news for teams such as Ekcys Fevolas and Sharks who put in a solid shift this week with a big win over Richo who can't seem to string two wins together this season. The most dangerous team currently outside of the eight as most regular Premier League coaches will know, is Buddy Franklin. We've all seen what the Buddster can do when they get a roll on and they are hovering in ninth spot waiting for REB or FISH to slip up so they can go into the top eight.
Some teams just haven't got going this season and that obviously includes the teams currently in red. The Badgers have been the ugly sister at the ball all year with just three wins while Alaska's Lions need a few beer googles as well before you'd take her for a spin on the dance floor. Mediocre is balls deep in a relegation dog fight while the Captain hasn't been able to mount his usual rearguard action this season......you know these sailors.
With four to play you can probably put a line through the bottom four including Q who can probably put it in the rack once relegation has been avoided but I can't imagine Q and Groover being relegated...it just wouldn't feel like Hogg Premier anymore if they were gone.
Well done Q.. tried to win without trading in a strange week and lucked out. You must have been happy with Billings score! Jeremy Cameron has already been rage traded to Sicily for me...
