Some who played C grade the week before were dropped.

I could be wrong but I'd be extremely surprised if there were 7 on the bench. Maybe the team list hasn't been updated.
And two wrongs don't make a right, but it has occurred for most of the stand alone games we have played vs sides with their a and b grade having the bye.
I would have thought that Lutheran would still get the chocolates in this game considering how easily they accounted for Eliz last week and their depth being pretty good usually.
Bold identifies a player who has been selected in the C grade more often than not – of course he should be able to play
Byes/Off-set Competitions/ANZAC Day 1. A player who plays in a senior team which has a bye in the following Minor Round of matches shall not play in a lower Division team in the following week unless the given player has been selected in more than 50% of the lower graded matches in the current season prior to the round in question. (Under 18 Divisions are exempt) 2. A player who plays in a senior team which higher Division teams have a bye in Round One (1) of the Minor Round shall not play in a higher Division team in the following week (Under 18 Divisions are exempt) 3. When a Member Club’s senior teams are playing on different days within the same round of matches of The League a player may only play in multiple matches on the same day unless the given player has been selected in more than 50% of the lower graded matches in the current season prior to the round in question.

Point 2 is interesting. Can count 7 B graders by having a quick look over the team sheets that went from C grade rd1 to B grade rd 2 for Heccies (whose A grade and B grade had the bye rd 1).

Rule came in leading into Anzac Day.. so you're prob right - that's prob the reason it was introduced.

Looks like Lodge have lost the points from the weekend but have picked up a win from the week before when Para Hills must have done the same thing and won
Congratulations to Kim Pearce on playing senior game number 800 on Saturday. Majority (over 500) at his beloved home town of Kersbrook but these days dons the black and gold as Coach of Mawson Lakes C grade. To the players participating and spectating Saturday, make sure he is loaded up with red cans post match and don't ask him to talk about Richmond.

WTF, how old is this guy, he'd have to be at least 60 and never had an injury to have played 800 games

Well done and massive effort to play 800 games, clearly he would hold the games record at Kersbrook with 500+ games there.
Our games record is getting broken tomorrow. Travis Bowden plays game 352, but that's a fair cry from 500 let alone 800 games. He'll need to play til his 90 to get close to those records.

Yes he's close to retirement age and has been lucky with injuries. He's been probably more commonly seen on the SA Masters Footy scene where he's chalked up at least another 300 games. The long Haired, headband wearing left footer does the state trips for each carnival and currently the Over 55s coach.
