Watching 360 atm and robbo finally making sense for once while talking about paddy macartin and the fact he may never playing again due to concussions and the fact of duty of care spoke really well good work .

I agree. Would have thought its only family & friends of the cast watching now.

I"m a Front Bar fan but I think I'd rather watch the Footy Show on a Friday night than a Port game. Perhaps they need to move.

Apart from a couple interviews, the The Front Bar has been only okay, a little bit ho-hum, this year.

Surely that's terminal now. I mean do simply waiting until every person has stopped watching?

Amazing how people are still bagging it even after it is gone, was an institution for the majority of its lifetime and was so good to have footy content on our screens midweek, it certainly changed the landscape and challenged the norm, overall it was well done and will be remembered fondly.

Good point raised this morning, TFS talked about the Hawks and Roughy. One time they would have been the first to break or talk about it, now there are at least 3 football shows on before them (AFL 360 etc) so everyone already knows what has happened before TFS even starts

#1 downfall - Like many businesses that think cause they have been successful in the past they will be in the future.

It didn't move with the times.

Locker room / change room humor like Sam's dick falling out, Billy being fat, Crawf being an idiot etc was funny and will remain funny to some people, but, plenty of even the most "blokey blokes" have moved on from that humor.

I'm a different cat in many ways.

My favourite footy show is "Footy Teams" goes for an hour, they spend 5-6 minutes on each game, who's in, who's out, a bit of history between the teams playing and who they are picking, I'm not interested in all the bullshit that goes along with, The Footy Show GF edition used to shit me to tears.

Early on, "more than a game" meant showing footballers not just as footballers. it was blokes in jeans and bomber jackets being themselves with blokey humour, and there it still a market for this as witnessed by the Front Bar. They had personalities because they weren't media-training-bashed out of it (similarly problem with recent ex-cricketers that have become commentators).

Towards the end of the 90's "More than a game" became players dressing in suits and Eddie pushing the business side eg board issues, membership drives etc, and as an antidote to this, the humour had to be written into it, with crass, put-on skits that got tired pretty quickly.
