After last night had a debate with a Collingwood supporter who is better ... Loved watching daicos but think Eddie is in front here as a highlight real ........ Thoughts ?

Like splitting hairs. Haven't compared highlight reels but in terms of players. Daicos, just, for mine.

Daicos done it in big games against good opposition.

Seen a couple of these debates over the last week on fb. Better debate I read was Milne v Betts. Milne for mine. Better player overall. Betts just does some freaky stuff not many others can do.

Betts can do the freakish absolutely no doubt about that but IMO very much a flat track bully.

I’d love to see his numbers in the past decade against the better sides Hawks, Cats etc

Betts way better than Daicos, no comparison.

Milne and Rioli are the only two who come into comparison with Betts.

Daicos without any doubt at all.

Was also very good centreman as well as medium forward.

Betts for me, different type players and roles - Betts is a genuine small forward, and his pressure acts and score involvements tend to go unnoticed. He might kick one a game, but generally invoked in half a dozen scores.

Milne & Rioli the only others I see in the same bracket of player, Milne perhaps marginally ahead but both outstanding.

Think Betts will end up being regarded as one of the best small forwards of all time when he retires.

Daicos was 6"1, not sure where the cut off is as a small forward, Malcolm Blight was shorter than Daicos and eclipses them all.
