As expected, Julian Wait retired from League football today.

Was good to see the players after the game go down and shake the hands of all the people in the cheersquad, who came onto the oval to thank them. The little kids there loved it.

Also great to hear the loud cheer that went up when Franklin kicked the winning goal for the Hawks. Nothing better than being at a Maggies game when the Crows lose!!

It was great having the players come right up to the fans. The best on though was awaith as soon as the siren went coming up to the fence to thank everyone for their support.
As for people cheering when the crows lost that annoyed me because in the last quarter some people were more worried about that game then the Magpies.

As a family freind of the Wait's I was invited down into the Port rooms after the match and Tom Carr asked what was the huge cheer was for after they had already won when I told him that he felt the same way
