Just so no one gets confused and we don’t have a 100+ page long winded argument about it, I can confirm BL do pay A grade players (how many and how much I don’t know) Hopefully that can put a stop to anyone involving us in this innuendo.

Continuing on from the above comments, We/Elizabeh have a good bunch of lads who Just love to play footy for their club. We haven’t paid players for the past 4-5 years and we seem to have a great culture around the club this year and previous years, Unfortunately though we all know it’s the way it goes these days if you want to win a flag and move up divisions you gotta pay. I believe that some clubs may be happy going from div 6 to div 5 every couple years and have some or little success.
In saying that we are very keen to see what we can deliver this week up against a club that I would say spends about 30-40k a season on players. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Cheers

That’s a complete lie! I’ve had mates that played there within the last 4-5 years and were all getting paid there.. I know blokes out there now that get paid lol and I’ve also been offered money on more than 1 occasion to play there! Sorry to burst your bubble

Like I said, I still know blokes playing in that team right now that get paid.. it may not be much but it definitely still happens, which obviously isn’t an issue because every club does it I just wanted to point out facts! Also a lot of bar tabs get dished out at the club which is also classed as players payments
