The first promotion of the pre-season has happened as Gingernuts has bowed to the inevitable and finally recognised how shit he is at SuperCoach. I for one will miss the yearly wins in my family league. This means that DAISY's mate Elite Jobby has earned himself a promotion on the back of some heavy scoring in Division IV last year. Divvy III really got going as a league last week rocketing up the league rankings in the second round. Round one leader Magpie Mafia had a shit one in round two and JOBBY and POWER went right by young Roscoe. Even Browny, who like Essendon missed the start of the season, got going so there don't appear to be any passengers in the league at this stage.

Lightning McQueen went within a point of upsetting the number one scorer in the league but had to settle for a share of the spoils in their opener against JOBBY. Killer Wombats contined with their strong start to the season with a walloping of POWER RULES which put them on top of the ladder. The Kiwi also had a big win and the Mafia also was a hit in the opening round. Herbie dropped the close one to The Willies but it was a good week for Woolballs, Blighty, The Dukes and Duromine Dependent who opened thier account in the first round.
