KANGAS VS CATS (Any chance Kangas?)

Postby daveswar » Tue Sep 04, 2007 3:53 pm

Being a long time Roos supporter I'm staggered that this team of mine is in a Qualifying Final. Dean Laidley has shown his credentials as a coach big time this year and the club still refuses to extend his contract. Unbelievable. Two years of mine numbing defense and boring gameplans have now combined with an attacking flair to reveal a competitive disiplined unit. I don't expect a win this week but I'm sure the boys won't get blown away either.
The rebuilding will continue at Arden St and It looks like an exciting time ahead. Congrats also to SOTC Glenn Archer. What a way to send off a true legend of the club.

I believe it's dean who's declined contract talks until the end of the year.

If it wasn't for them playing their last 4 games at Telstra DOOM, I would rate them a good chance of knocking off the Cats at the G

The loser of this match will have to play a prelim final outside Victoria (either Perth or Adelaide) to make the GF so this match even more CRUCIAL than it would normally be
