Glenelg played well after quarter time. Eagles were pretty ordinary for most of the day and should never have drawn the game. A bit of Bernie Vince magic saved the day. Highlight of the day was the reserves getting up for Hally in his last game for the club. Well done Steven Hall on a great career.

Good game both teams...
Not a bad crowd considering..Beautiful sitting on the grass in the outer...
Woodville oval is a gem...
Glenelg now have the knowledge then can go with three sides above them...
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

As I posted in the other game thread that was a wake up call. And Roy Laird was an interested fan .
Both teams have different styles to win a game both nearly did today and both nearly lost as well.
And a fight by the booze tent after the game ends .

No idea who started it almost stumbled into it saw the wesco clone trying to stop it and walked down and behind and away from it.
And he looked to be having a little trouble the wesco clone that is.

Thanks a lot MJ. Now were going to hear all about how Centrals started the fight from KG and Cornes since you mentioned Roy Laird was there.

But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

I think we can stop posts like that one, Graham. Not commenting at all is what dogs supporters need to do.

We all know what KG and Cornesy are like. I never thought about Centrals fans being at fault or involved; I don't think anyone did.

Having been to all 3 games today it was very refreshing to end up at Woodville where it was a great contest.
Glenelg were superb, that 3rd qtr against the breeze was awesome but full marks to the Eagles for not giving up and coming back like they did with all class.
The Eagles were 1 pt away from 2nd spot.
At least North are consistant, only finalist to occupy the same spot after the minor round 2 years running in 2nd now! :D

Hally has not made a final decision and wont til later on. Yes is a possibility it was his last but talking with Steve tonight has definately not said that and will look at things over the off season.
