North Adelaide - diagonally opposite the recently closed down Archer Hotel.

I guess that sort of location might justify that rental but still, have to sell heaps, plenty of compet ition too

I've heard from someone that used to work there the Archer was complete mismanagement by the current owners it did well under the previous owners.

The copper from Waikerie who yesterday booked a driver for having an unsecured load.
The driver had just finished doing the Christmas Pageant in Morgan & had Father Christmas & sleigh in the back of his ute.
He’d just handed out 200 bags of lollies to all the kids. The driver was fined $301 & lost 3 demerit points.

I'm not defending the copper here as I think it's a load of shit, but, the bloke was fined well after the pageant had finished. Not unreasonable to get the bloke out of the trailer and in the car for the drive home.

At worst a warning, maybe get Santa to jump in the car, issuing a fine even for a Grinch like me is a bit "un-Xmassy".

Agree. If the copper let this dude go and he fell out and hurt himself, the cop would be in all sorts of trouble for not stopping it.
He could of got a warning though...
