Word is Josh Hand one of a few lined up..

Also heard Salisbury had numbers close to 50 at training..

Josh Hand in D5?

He'd be on track for 45+ votes in the medal

Handy player then?

So it's ok for Timmy Sumner and other former AFL players to run around in D5 but not Josh Hand.

Who said it's not ok?

Not wrong with the 2nd part of his post, though.

That inference is pretty hard to draw from "Josh Hand in D5?"

I suggest that this may be more a product of what your subconscious thinks of the situation ;)

Also, for the record I think Hand will be more effective at this grade than Sumner. Plays a more natural style of game for it. There is a risk he will get literally every kick.

looking like a very strong and even Div 5 on the cards

HV, Smithfield, Pulteney, Kenilworth, Lockleys will all be strong, word out of Rosewater, Trinity & Salisbury seems just as promising.

Lot going on at EP from all reports so might be hard to gauge them at this stage. Have heard bugger all out of Blackfriars

Would be an interesting watch.

Surprised he went to a club in the same grade to be honest.

Probably good for all involved

Amateur league wouldn’t look kindly on a few Smithfield lads getting reported

Would be interesting if they played off in a GF as to what he would do.

Doubt he'd get that much attention from his former team mates... but reckon carey is right - 0% chance of playing haha.

He was at a wedding with a few of them on the weekend, I don't think he'd get belted, they'd definitely go pretty hard at him though.

Would be a while since Smithfield had a report as well wouldn't it? Certainly turned things around massively down there in recent seasons.

I think you’ll find The only reason dulla isn’t at Smithfield is his misses lives near lockleys, Under the thumb n a few $, He will definitely play against his old mob but there will definitely be a bit going on. Off the field they are thick as thieves and very good mates!!

We did, although that number includes some Wallaroo lads who run around with us during the week, plus about ten Under 18s. 0 Josh Hands though.

I see A Williams and L Williams are running around at HV also this season. 1 very classy and the other very clean around the ball. Mitch seems to be Bringing a lot of class to that club. Will be good to watch. My son also tells me they have a few more on the go. Bloke at work filling me in saying that rosewater will be ok as well. Good to see

Smithfield definitely putting their best foot forward and will be right up there this year.. Signing another couple of very good footballers from eastern park tonight!

Well over 10 players that have left EP to date, no doubt a few more to come!

At the end of the day, I can’t speak for everyone.. But my PERSONAL opinion is that the football club had a chance, after speaking with majority of the playing group, to keep everyone together and have a seriously good crack at div 5.

They obviously decided against what 95% of the team thought, whether they thought it was going to be water under the bridge and everyone would shake it off or whatever, but everyone is sticking to their word!

Losing your captain, vice captain, numerous previous best and fairest winners and even 5-6 blokes that have been at the club for 10+ years is surely an eye opener! I hate to see this happening but it was all an easy fix problem, I’m sure in 2-3 years everyone will be back and the club will start rising again!

Again that’s just my view of things, do not want to speak on behalf of the other 12 blokes that have left lol

Smithfield making a lot of moves both on and off the field. Nizzy doing a great job in his first month or so in the gig as president.
