Maybe Styen and co blowed the first of the innings at the WACA?

Couple of early wickets and we are in with a chance
You would’ve been better off buying 3 pints mate.
Throwing money on the floor

Not a bad throry mate but that will never happen. Roads, roads and more roads will be the flavour of this summer once again.daysofourlives wrote:carey wrote:Did i just hear right Australia has only won 2 ODI’s in the last 20 games? Wow I didn’t think it was that bad
Thats minnow stuff, would even Zimbabwe have a record as bad as that?
Going to be a long summer. I think we should take a punt a prepare green tops for the tests against India, so what if they are over in 3 days at least we would be 50/50 on those wickets, if we prepare roads they will beat us into submission over 4 - 5 days

Youre definitely right about the roads. Kohli will make 800 for the series, it will be the only thing that takes them near a 5th day. India will bat for 2 and we'll bat for 2, only problem is we'll lose 20 wickets and theyll lose 5.

* Invest back into a DECENT, better structured ODD competition.
* Stop playing our ODD matches on shoeboxes built to enhance egos and mask deficiencies - we have world class grounds, use them.
* Stop selecting players on T20 form, pick those instead who perform in our ODD matches.

The Bedge wrote:I agree with what you're saying, but I don't agree it's the right format and if CA are fair dinkum they'll find a better way - or go back to how it used to be.
Otherwise, if they insist on structuring the season the way it is currently, then they need to invest in upgrading venues in each state so games can be played on grounds bigger than a primary school.
Surely each state has one or two appropriately sized grounds that could be used?

The talented kids are being left behind in their needs because we are catering too much for the kid that will never play cricket past the age of 14 or 15
