So you won't see a draw until March.
Lets look at this logically, if you play triple headers
Follow your A grade,

I hope this doesn't happen. U18 should be able to be exposed to A/B grade footy if good enough, and if not ready yet, at least be able to watch their club's senior team go around on a Saturday. Not to mention killing the idea of triple headers.locky801 wrote:Footy Chick wrote:These are never finalised until the end of February, It's the same every year.

Wont that change somewhat if the U18 comp changes, hearing that U18 or U19 would be possibly run as double headers with C Grade games, all speculation of course

I suspect moving to Saturday Under 18s would result in a net loss of footballers to the league

I think oval availability on Sundays due to the surge in female numbers playing footy is a major issue for 18s footy. And 3pm sundays is a **** of a timejo172 wrote:Moving Under 18s to Saturdays would be the death knell of the concept for clubs reliant on college kids.

Theyre no longer juniors and the seniors get no exposure to them and they get no exposure to the seniors. Theyre 17yo and busy drinking all weekend then gotta get up for footy on a sunday arvo
They are the biggest assets at your club and most sensitive as most of them disappear never play again.
Meanwhile also in my opinion, being 30 years old plus and getting up at 8am to play football at 10am in the morning is ridiculous, us old buggers need breakfast and lunch and 5 coffees to be up and about. 10am starts can pee off, bring back 2pm starts
Playing cgrade with 18s means the club is open every week
Triple headers means the club is only open 9 afternoons a year
