Me too, mistaking me for someone that spends 10 mins lining up for discounted petrol is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!
I'm so lazy and time conscious I wouldn't line up for 10 seconds!

Generally, when prices are up and I'm not going far I just put about $20 worth in the tank, hoping to be ready to top up on the net low cycle, but I don't always pull it off. Sometimes you just have to fill up because something else is more important than fighting the b......s who obviously collude in jacking the prices up together, and it is not worth the time to wait, nor the inconvenience of fighting the price manipulation on principle at that point.

I do have a handy little app on my phone called Motormouth which gives me some idea where the best prices are near where I'm going next.

I;m normally the same as Psyber, normally I would never line up for cheap petrol but I was on holidays and nothing better to do.

That said, theres nothing worse than being beyond empty, filling up at prime price and then discovering a servo down the road that was heaps cheaper, knowing you probably would've still made it there :lol:

One thing thats worse is driving past one that seems expensive, only to find your next option to be more expensive.

A dude rides his pushie down Montague Road and when he gets to Port Wakefield Road he goes up on the kerb and presses the pedestrian button, he gets to go across and all the cars turning left miss a complete turn, if he stays on the road everyone gets to go, 3rd time this week this morning.

Added 2 minutes to my 5 minute journey to work, I only arrived 33 minutes early.

Still feel like slapping him though on sheer principle, you're either riding on the road or your not, I wouldn't hold up others though.
