Re: What The F***
I reckon she did the same thing when she lost to Sam Stosur. She was down a set & went nuts at the umpire then tried to get the crowd to fire up. She then won the 2nd set but ended up losing the 3rd.

Also said she'd shove a tennis ball down a linesman's throat, I think in 2009. But, you know, I shouldn't dare question her integrity because she's a mum.

Re: What The F***
Dropping your bundle on court is one of the good - well maybe interesting - things about tennis, because there is nowhere to hide.
But then to double down afterwards and blame others is the worst part.
Not even Kyrgios has done much of that

Yep, I was working in King William Street in the city. I recall walking from the car park near light square into the office. A plane flew over head, about 5 or 6 of us stopped in our tracks & looked up.... wondering. The phones didn't ring all day in the office. The place was just in shock.

Asleep in bed wirh my ex. Not hard to remember as that was the case most nights between 1990 and 2012.
Can't remember where I was or who I was with when I heard the news.
Possibly work the next morning, I would have been on Wyatt St around then, might have also been at home if I had to get the kids ready, but honestly can't remember at all.
I remember where I was when I found out about Princess Di's death though, entering Flagstaff Hill Oval to watch a SFL final, Steve Carlysle told me, will never forget that for some reason. Weird as that was 4 years earlier, so obviously not an issue with my memory.

Yes of course, news broke overnight, so most of us heard it that morning.

Was sitting at home watching it all unfold on various news channels. I don't think I slept that night.

Re: What The F***
At the time I started at 7am and had a 45 minute walk to work so was in bed early the night before and heard nothing of it.
Put the CD Discman in the ears and walked to work, got told by some workmates to go and find a TV to look at at around 7 the next morning.

K.
I was watching a Monday night footy show (talking footy IIRC), they done a live cross just before the second one hit, stayed up all night, was debating going to work the next day as I thought WWIII was about to start.
Had to drive from Cheltenham to Smithfield a couple of times that week at night, it was very eerie on Heaslip Road with about a dozen Orion's circling the metropolitan area non stop.
Scary times.

Yep, like it was yesterday.
I was up late with the Channel 10 late evening news on in the background, and heard Sandra Sully mention some breaking news from New York.

You may recall the cassette adaptor that came with the discman? Currently that connects Little Miss Boons i-phony to her car stereo enabling Spotify to ring through the airwaves.

It saw the already conceited spoilt-brat entitlement syndrome of professional tennis players and raised it to stratospheric heights that would've made McEnroe do a double-take. I look forward to the authorities soon renaming the game from 'Tennis' to 'Serena Williams', since apparently the whole thing is only about her. Felt sorry for the winner, Osaka, who felt she had to apologise for winning. What the **** indeed.
Well put Portugese comrade.
