Re: Yorke Peninsula League
Any truth to the rumour Heff was reported twice on Sunday? And apparently if he gets 2 weeks for both incidents - is over the 16game thresholds???

I know he got reported but not sure how many times though. Not sure how many games he’s sitting on either. It was the same bloke he got suspended for last time for 3 games that he got yesterday. I’d say 6 games given his record.
He was the Roos best player in the last quarter.

Congratulations to Tom Robinson senior colts and Charlie Hoile junior colts on winning the mail medals last night at Maitland. Both lads are from Southern Eagles.

Did anything come of this DD? Heff receive any weeks on the sidelines?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Re: Yorke Peninsula League
Finals week 2
Semi final 2 @ Bute -CY Cougars v Moonta =Moonta
Toss a coin for this game, 1 game apiece this year so far. Moonta has had the best second half of the year but Cougars had the weeks rest and should regain most of their players back.Ramsey is a match winner up forward and knows how to get the job done in big games and will get 4 or 5 goals and be the difference. Moonta by 8pts
Semi final 1 @ Ardrossan-Southern Eagles v Ardrossan =Ardrossan
I haven’t had SE as a contender all year, not sure why but I guess I just don’t see them enough like I do other teams but I have seen Ardrossan and saw them beat Paskeville Sunday and was very impressed. They defended really well and won the ball back and moved it fast through the corridor to a open and well organised forward set up hitting the big plugger forward many times. Won the ruck and clearance battle easy and made Tyson Wait accountable by putting Wellington on him stopping his damaging run. If they bring that game style and want to win like in the first quarter last Sunday then on their home deck will be hard to stop. Eagles have some guns and match winners in their team and if they fire could win also. Ardrossan on a high and playing at home is enough for me though. Roos by 15pts
Good luck and all the best

Yep he’s good but we all know teams win finals not a individual. If Robbo gets 40 and 10 of those hit big Mummy 20 out then they will.

I’ve played footy with Robbo he’s definitely got a right foot. Doesn’t need to use it as much cause he gets on his left to easily.

That would be strange. A Moonta player doing that. Especially behind the play. A certain Moonta B grade player has been doing it for years in front of umpires without any consequence. Maybe the president of the League helps out there?

Re: Yorke Peninsula League
Finals week 3
Preliminary final@ Wally World
CY Cougars v Southern Eagles =Southern Eagles
Eagles are back in town with a good win over Ardrossan on Sunday and have got key players in form including the big Mummy up forward.
Cougars just haven’t got it together in the second half of the year and coach Kanga will have a sleepless night knowing a loss will be a straight sets exit from finals after being top all year. Eagles on a high and Cougars are on a low. Eagles by 15 pts

Re: Yorke Peninsula League
Grand final @ Minlaton
Moonta v CY Cougars =Moonta
Moonta look set to win easy here being the best side going round the last 15 weeks only dropping the 1 game, have a full deck and fully rested But it doesn’t always turn out like that so with ordinary weather forecast tomorrow a injury or 2 and some early scoreboard pressure anything can happen. The 2 best sides have made it through and makes for a good contest but I think Moonta will have the polish and the extra run to get the win.

Good luck to everyone playing tomorrow in the footy and netty and all the best.

Absolutely, I've appreciated them, makes reading the Sunday Mail results more interesting.

Moonta by 5 goals in the A's.
Crows by 10 goals in the B's assuming not too wet
