Cheers Dutchy, many of these kids come from a disadvantaged background and they seem to be thriving. Great to hear the feedback. Coach Joshua and some other great people have put in a power of work to get this team on the park.

Yeah can't be easy but critical to club with nothing else between u12's and seniors, Ive always admired the volunteers down there, hence why Id love to see you win the flag.

well well well whatta ya know i correctly predicted the first lions loss of the year
Why would they deliberately lose?
Don't think anyone would try and lose but they rested a few and played Rigney out of position by the looks. But now 2 v 3 final is on the slop at St Pauls not at Marion, while they get a week off to refresh before there first final.

I reckon St Paul's are one of the smokies to make the GF in this division.

A smoky? They finished 2nd! Odds would say they should make the GF.

They rested a few knowing they had a week off? The best form going into finals is winning form, it's dangerous to interrupt that

Few names missing from the previous weeks team listings. I assume they rested them or injured.

I was wondering the same thing, is no game for 3 weeks a good thing? I think not, unless there's a strong breeze I doubt whether they'll be leading at quarter time of the 2nd semi.

Just because they finished second and are playing a home final doesn't mean they are definitely going to get into a GF.
Good numbers on the track last night. Every one is up and about and keen as for a crack in our first final. Hendo's probably gonna have a few sleepless nights heading into next Thursday's selection. Go Raiders!!!!!
