Out of interest when as the last time OSBL and Marion played finals?

I'm guessing 2006ish for the Lions.

A grade played finals 3 consecutive years 2005-2007.

The best our reserves could muster was a 9th I reckon. I’d say our Ressies have won more games this year than they have in the past 6 years combined!

2007 in fact. Lost the 5 v 8 final by 15 goals against the Brighton Bombers at Port Noarlunga Oval on a Sunday

Bomber’s went on to play in the GF that year losing to the undefeated Emu’s..

Absolutely huge game in both grades in the game between Mawson Lakes and Golden Grove. Would luv to see Mawson Lakes reserves get up and see how far deep in finals they can get to.
