If I get a run this week, will I get a cheer squad for the whole game?

A few more games, and I'll demand a grandstand.

How big is round 18.
Gepps need to beat Salisbury to hold 2nd, you would expect them to win but Salisbury are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get and their best is good enough.
Kilburn v Towns has so much hanging on it for both teams. Kilburn could end up 2nd or 3rd. Towns could end up 4th, 5th or out of the 5.
Pooraka v Eastern Pk, the Bulls could hold 4th with a home final if they win or finish 5th if they lose and Towns win.
Mitcham v Smosh, the Hawks need to win to keep their finals aspirations alive and Smosh need to win to avoid relegation.
Fantastic round of footy in a very close division.

From a Towns point Saturday Eastern Park controlled the game for 3 quarters but their was a lot on the line for our club and some of its legends. A 10 goal last quarter was just what we all needed.

#bleedredandblue gets potted plenty of times on here, but well done to you as a leader and your club. All games yesterday were played in the greatest spirit and you should all be proud of what you are trying to achieve.

Edwardstown 50.77%
Mitcham 49.91%

It's about a 51 point differential.. so towns loss margin + Mitcham win margin needs to equal greater than 51 points.

It's gonna happen.

I just tried predictor had Kilburn 85 def. Eddies 60 and Mitcham 85 def. SMOSH 60 and Mitcham make the 5.

Based on current form I'd lean towards SMOSH beating Mitcham whilst trying to avoid relegation. Either way it seems appropriate that the minor season will end with so many potential twists and turns.

A season of two halves for us. We had our full strength side available for the first seven rounds where the teams we played looked to be missing a few,
We copped some crucial injuries and lost some of our good depth players too.

Very happy to avoid relegation and looking to focus on some key areas heading into 2019

Think we are building a pretty strong culture on and off field and are respected across the division

Gepps v kilburn grand final I reckon

As a casual observer of a few CLG games this year, it staggered me that following the start to the season they had, this is where they finished up. I had them as a lock for top 2. They would blow teams out in the 3rd and 4th quarters and run all over them. When they played well, they were unstoppable. But then the back end of the season came and it all changed. A tale of two halves really.

The chics are 12-1 since 2011 in finals, big call with straight sets.

Losing your best forward and your best defender at a pretty key stage of the year really hurt us. Our backline was reasonably inexperienced this year and similar story with our forward line. While our B grade was around the mark we probably didn't have the same depth we've had in recent times and this hurt us when we got a few injuries/unavailables. On the weekend I think we had something like 8 walk up first 18 out of our A grade which is never a good thing at this time of year. The club is on the right path though with the blokes we've brought in, hopefully we can keep the group together for 2019 and come back bigger and better.

Grand final pick
