However over recent years there have been late changes in Feb/March based on clubs positions.. so I guess one could argue the grading of Salis North may not be known until then.

So you get kicked out of a nightclub 1 week and the following week the bouncer gives you a chance lets you back in.
3 hours later hes kicking your ass out again and youre all thinking of coming back next week getting straight back in getting all your high ass luxuries getting your sweet cosy seat back again?
Its all pretty bells n whistles on safooty forum but in the admin offices of ADFL theyd have different ideas

you've lost your marbles... now you're comparing an amateur football organisation and club to a nightclub reveller
Tell ya what son, happy to take a wager on it if you're so confident..

Well, everybody that plays footy is basically on pingas, so it's a good analogy
Love a rumour wrote:They can’t put them in div 7 it will ruin it for every other team in that comp, would be a real stupid move
Rule #1: Take no notice of marbles, he's lost his.
Dont be so sure sonny jim. If SN are denied affiliation in 2019 what choice but div 7 or possibly div 6 would they have in 2020
You not able to think ahead in youre elderly days no more?
Did Edwardstown or Morphy Pk come back in D7?
Be realistic mate, if or when SN return they’ll be graded appropriately.
Given someone who was involved in a club that was on an AAA, and understanding the clauses - AS WELL AS - seeing how the League has gone about things in the past, it’s pretty simple. If Salis North are 8th at the end of the season, they’ll play D2 UNLESS as was the case with other clubs recently, they don’t get the cattle back and request to drop down.
All this talk about D3, D7 is just stupid... show me one example of when the league has been so drastic as to punish a club by dropping them so far down - especially a power house like SN
Used that term loosely, still haven't won an A grade flag in the Ammo's

Can’t imagine there are too many clubs that have enjoyed a sustained stay at the highest division (only demoted due to behaviour), that also have a strong and successful compliment of junior sides to go along with it, and have produced a large number of SANFL/Representative players.
When I think of what I believe are the most “powerful” clubs I think Salis North, Tea Tree Gully, PNU

there is also a club in millswood that go alright mate..
Inallseriousness wrote:Think ROCS should be getting into consideration, no official juniors but plenty of Junior sides at the college.
No mate, no ROCS in this convo, carn bud now you're just being silly.
is inallseriousness an old scholar or something??
Nah, he's just got ROCS in his head
ROCS are a far stronger and successful club in the League than Salisbury North - what they fork out in Football Scholarships would be more than Salisbury North's Salary Cap
I would deem Salisbury North as a very good club in Div 1 without achieving the ultimate success
I'm not counting Colleges/Old Scholars or University clubs in the conversation lol.. they look after themselves.
In terms of grass roots, inclusive organisations fostering and building juniors/players from U6 through to A grade it's hard to go past those genuine community clubs.
