Well I guess speaking from experience in recent weeks, when you're getting 10+ goals a quarter kicked on you, you want to make sure the umps here the siren at the end of the quarter!
Does this mean you will be doing a summary of each club's siren, similar to the BBQ wrap?

Hmm.. nah stuff that.. but I will say, for a college club, Pulteney are not real bright - on the weekend they ran a school game on the adjacent oval, and their timekeeper/siren was parked close to the siren for the AdFL game.. the result? A siren going off 5min early each quarter bringing a halt to games until sides could work out which siren was which.

Great game at Waldeck on the weekend. Elizabeth put up a very good fight and almost won the points in miserable conditions for footy on the weekend. They got to, I think 13 points up, with some against-the-breeze goals. But a barrage of shots from the TOSers in the final 10 minutes saw the home side get up. It was a brave, but ultimately disappointing, loss for the Eags.
Apart from a few sneaky reds in the Pav, the highlight of the day for me was a goal that Elizabeth kicked in the second quarter. The Elizabeth player had a kick on the boundary from 50 that looked like it was going out on the full 10 metres from the goals. The wind swung it across the face of goals and then the wind sent it backwards, allowing Clarkie to mark it five metres from the goal line, direct in front. A useful breeze.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

I've already decided Greenacres have the best one.

I tell you what, it'll be a shame if anything happened to Greenacres. Pretty good surface for footy, entertaining goal umpire, but most of all everyone was raving so much about the canteen food I had to go get some myself. Best food I've ever had at a local footy game. That club has everything going for them other than results unfortunately

Absolute dung heap after the first heavy rain for the season, I've had boots sucked straight off my foot just walking through the mud (and with double-knots).

I agree with all other aspects though.
Well at least it was 3 weeks ago when it was dry and lush green haha. The surrounding views leave a bit to be desired however

Seen a couple of the WC boys saturday night. They are still very confident they will be able to win the flag. Reckon the loss to Rosewater was just a hiccup and bad day at the office. Interesting with Ben Wiles coming back to WC. I heard the league wasnt going to approve any transfers within the league as some clubs in Div 4 had complained it isnt fair. They will only approve tranfers to outside leagues.
