The Colombia/Japan game showed me everything that i believe is wrong with technology referees being used in sport.
Colombia score a goal from the use of goal line technology (admittedly it was clearly a goal) but the goal resulted from what was a very poor decision by the referee to award Colombia a free kick.
Similar happens in cricket in regards to checking for no-balls only being checked when a wicket falls.
What results are we looking for tomorrow night. Obviously w e want an Australia win but a draw would still give us an outside side chance of progression.
There is a double edge sword with the France/Peru game. A win to France sees them having nothing to play for in their last round game against Denmark who we will require a result from. While points to Peru in this game gives them everything to play for against us and a much greater challenge then if they were essentially eliminated.

Whats you perfect combination?
I didn't see the Denmark v Peru game, but from all accounts Peru were a lot more impressive despite losing, so our best chance of a win might be against Denmark. I'm sure we will adopt a fairly conservative approach in first half and go all out for a win in the second. We can't control what happens in France v Peru, just need to go all out for a win against Denmark. Eriksen worries me, have to keep him on a chain.
Agree i think we will start conservative again with men behind the ball looking to counter attack.
Eriksen is quality, would you contemplate someone link Jedinak man marking or does Luongo come in who is a bit more agile, fleet footed and has been playing defensively for QPR.
It's a pity the game wasn't played today as it's 26 degrees today, but forecast is for only 17 degrees tomorrow. One thing the Socceroos are good at is conditioning, so I would have thought the warmer the better for us. Not to be. I'd like to see Jedinak, Luongo and Mooy start. Rogic and Arzani to start on the bench and be given 30 minutes to win the game in the second half.

Probably some way to explaining despite all the talent in the world he hasn’t been signed by a bigger club than Celtic.
I don't think you will upset anyone with that comment....he's so frustrating. I was really disappointed that he stayed with Celtic. He's not going to realise his full potential playing in the SPL.
