Still maintain they were both pretty crude attempts at a spoil that clubbed the opposition full on in the scone.
Regardelss of how bad the fall made it look.

There was nothing wrong with Cloke's attempt - the ball was there.

However, Rocca's two, he should've gone for. Surprised he didn't this time too.

Did he actually get close to the ball, or just club edwards in the head?
It was careless and clumsy, whether accidental or not.

Agreed, Cloke was clumsy & careless x 10 (putting it mildly) with that incident, if you look at it again objectively it's fairly obvious

It was an important game Cloke missed hence all the drama at the time

He did what was common practice in years past - 'punish' the guy who took the mark so he thinks twice next time he goes for it.

He got what he deserved ..... IMO
In between signatures .....

Watch a DVD of the game (like I have), & Cloke has eyes for NOTHING BUT THE BALL.
How many players have gone to spoil over the years, watching the ball & mis-time it?
You'd be rubbing blokes out every week.
There'd be a Supreme Court Injuction if it was a Crows player suspended for that exact same incident, with Crows fans burning effigies of everyone in the AFL, from the head honcho, down to those who sell Records at games....

Hang on SS, Punky's shown he can look past the bias for the Pies by saying he believes Rocca was lucky not to go.

So, he has taken his anti-Crows glasses off. He's admitted the Crows are unlucky to be facing a Collingwood side with Pebbles in it.

I am actually quite happy that Amon Buchanan only got the one game event though he should have got 2-4. He has one of the best records in the AFL this is the only reason he got off. Rocca should have got 1 at least for touching a Sydney player. Go the Swans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rocca and Cloke both got off lightly. Should have gotten 3 each! I haven't seen the Buchanan one.
