Re: Collingwood
Looking forward to a good game today.
Should be a cracker!
Both clubs get a good test to see where they're at.
Grundy v Gawn will be interesting.

Re: Collingwood
The difference is we aren't giving it back to the opposition as much.
In close handball is very good most of the time and our pressure is much more consistent.
Great win and yes a favourable draw until west coast.

Would Lynden Dunn be as shit a bloke in real life as he is on the field?

I'm a big fan, mainly for his thigh girth.

Re: Collingwood
How exciting is Jayden Stephenson? Found myself screaming at him constantly yesterday for both his magic and his complete **** ups.
Favourite player would have to be Scharenberg at the moment. Much getting said about a lot of other players, but he has been a rock. Intercept marks + uses the ball well.
Our top draft picks finally bearing some fruit, and we've still got Sier and Rupe carving up in the magoos.

Will end up being the best player of his draft pool. His scope is unbelievable.

Re: Collingwood
For the first time ever I've got admiration for Nathan Buckley. As a player he was an undoubted A Grader but FIGJAM he was, I was never a fan. With his coaching he appeared to be looking for the goody two shoe types and for years this didn't seem to help Collingwood. He appeared very rigid when perhaps what was going on was that he actually had a vision for the sort of game plan he wanted Collingwood to play and the club's patience might just pay off.
With his coaching he has a side with most blokes on the park that are prepared to work as hard as he did in his playing days. Collingwood's relentless running was reminiscent of Buckley in his prime. His will to win is second to none and the Pies are going to a handful for all comers for the rest of the season.
regards,
REB

They've snuck into 10's now, I wonder how many people jumped on them when they were paying a shitload, after yesterday's effort there must be a real belief in the playing group now.

You can see why Scharenberg was rated so highly, very Hodge like with his style and ball use
