I think Matthew Scarlett will make the team ahead of Glass and Rutten. Also i would have Hamish Macintosh as the bench ruckman instead of Brendon Lade. Other than that i think that team is just about right

Did he really name Shaun Burgoyne across half-back?

Because Peter has been outstanding there this year.

Be surprised if Brett Ebert gets a guernsey.

Not Kane Cornes though - he's more than just an accumulator of cheap possies these days...

Ebert is the premier small forward in the comp IMO,he should get in.

Has Cox had that good of a year,or is it his reputation putting him forward?

Rutten held the league's best goal kicker in 07, J Brown to 1.1 and 2.2 i believe.
Glass has been far superior to Scarlett IMO, his job on F Gehrig last week was superb.
Scarlett good, and similar player, but i don't think he's better than Rutten and Glass.

Good team there Aerie, I reckon you'll have it just about spot on. Maybe Carrazzo will make it on the bench in place of Kirk. Also, I would have Lade as the ruckman, with Hamish McIntosh on the bench. Don't think Cox has done enough this year and agree with Booney regarding his place may be held only by reputation.

Don think Rutten would be CHB... he gets exposed for pace when on a quicker player... even Richo gave him the round around...

Surely cambell brown should be in a key defensive posistion ahead of all of them, he plays a foot above his size....

I reckon any position in the defensive half of an all australian team is a "key position"

Riewoldt's 2nd half of the year has been pretty good and the selectors love him so I reckon he'll at least make it to the bench ... Dal Santo could be another from the Saints to give it a shake.

Also, H McIntosh as starting ruckman for mine.

Campbell Brown was named in the back pocket in the team being discussed, thus my point that he is already in a key position, regardless of being named CHF or FB
