And for those who use the American spelling of SteriliZation

In Australian our hospitals follow AS 4187-2014 Sterilisation of re-usable devices

The 'Z' spelling isn't really an Americanism. In fact, traditionally these words were spelt with Zs in Australia, the UK etc. For some reason the 'S' spelling has become more common in Australia, but really given the Greek/Latin origin of these words, 'Z' makes more sense.

I now live on Mornington Island in the Gulf of Carpentaria, it's an aboriginal community. Alcohol is illegal here now and the homebrew is everywhere. They use fruit juice, water, sugar and yeast and sells for $25 for 1.25L or $250 for ten litre containers. Brewers are making a fortune. People caught drinking get criminal convictions and then can't work for Council. The health outcomes are so much worse due to all the sugar required for the homebrew, half the Island are now diabetics or on dialysis. Prohibition has never worked and it's plain to see here.

That is an example of why so many people disagreed with John Howard's NT intervention sending in the military into Aboriginal communities both inherently racist in ideal and as an excuse to punish those on welfare via the Basics Card which governments on both sides have since expanded nationally with proved to have a negative impact on children.
