Does anybody know what I should be paying if I want to put a 10Kw solar panel system up on my roof. Power bills getting out of control and thinking going to have to bite the bullet and put a system in and change usage of everything during the day where possible, like dishwasher, washing machine, pool pumps etc. Havn't got any quotes yet, but for a half decent quality would $12k be around the mark or am I totally wrong.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

10kw, hope you’ve got a big roof. I was quoted for a 10kw about 5 years ago when the 10kw became available and it was $15k. I suggest it’d be cheaper than that now though.

I have no idea how much room is needed, or much about solar, just guessing that we will need around that size. But yeah our house is reasonable size, plus there is a 18m x 6m shed a couple of metres away if required.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Each panel is 250W so you’d need 40 panels IIRC. Quick search online and 12k is around the money.
