Fascinated to see who these recruit$ are starboy. The only recruit we have this year is young Levi Grigg who's brother plays B grade and father is team manager of the B grade. We have had a few blokes come from the SFL and the Mallee League who came to us wanting to play but the majority of our As is local just like last year. The main reason we came to Div 2 was so we didn't have to spend much money to compete.

I think you’d find that the top 3-4 teams would actually spend less than the middle few.
Ironbank are predominantly locals
Kersbrook get recruits through Beefy and wanting to play under him.
Nairne’s best players are all locals, Rupcic’s x3, Gamma, Jaensch, Revington etc. all locals.
That’s why they’re all where they are at the moment.
Also Birdwood don’t ever fully drop off, good locals.

Is it too hard to type a name, or are you pumping up your own tyres?

Well you missed a former Nairne Captain and B@F winner. You might need to check again.

Todd Heynen? They’re the only two I could think of possibly.
Who is this X. Cubillo for them on there as well? Has kicked 5 goals in the first two games but hadn’t heard of him, clearance is from NTFL.

Will they last the season? This is a massive fall from grace.

Wasn't much "grace" in what they've been doing over the last few years.
But let's hope they can work hard over the next few years and become what they are - a legitimate DIv 2 club.

Grace in being around the mark in div 1 but i see your point. Is this karma kicking them in the balls?

Maccy going along nicely. This will be their biggest challenge so far, Kersbrook at Kersbrook. Should be a good measuring stick for them to see where they’re really at.

Torrens Valley probably wouldn’t be as worried about facing the reigning premiers in Nairne this week as they would’ve been at the start of the season. Rams aren’t travelling all that well!
