I don't understand why you'd go to a media outlet - what are you looking to gain out of it?

So here we are back to the original assessment and opinion of the girl that lots were quick to make... one which is totally unfair and unfounded, just like the original assessment and opinion of SPP was.

So why do you think she went to C7? What do you think she was hoping to gain out of it?

I have no idea, and neither does you or anyone else on here which is my point.

Maybe she was angry? confused? poorly advised?

We feel thats its ok to defend the allegations against SPP by saying 'where's your proof?'.

so where is the proof that the girl was trying to gain $$ from the media? or the proof that she was actually paid?

i just think its equally unfair to paint her as a gold digger when there's no evidence to back it up.

If that was the case & the integrity unit sussed her surely they'd say ''yeah ok we'll leave it at that''. You'd think that they'd be pretty worried that if they just dismissed it & the chick arked up to the media again the AFL would be well & truly on the back foot the feedback would be savage, reckon she wanted a bit more than just a warning.
According to the youngest groinfruit that club is a well known Power aftergame spot, you'd hope that ( if there were any other players there) they'd pull him off to a cab well before he was that soozled.

In all honesty, I don't know, but I think it's fair to say she wasn't sure what she was doing at that point in time either.

If it's club first and then media next then I can understand why the club would be so filthy with C7 for airing the story before any investigation took place, certainly naming SPP, anyway.

The more that comes to light the worse C7 look in all of this I reckon.

Well then, her parents are wasting their money sending her to University if that's the case, she's obviously not real clever.

Contacting a media company, in a football mad fishbowl state and insinuating that a player potentially sexually assaulted her was only ever going to receive this sort of attention.

Keep in mind that the same "excuses" being afforded to SPP for his behaviour also ought to be afforded to the young woman.

She too, is 20. Unlikely to have the expertise and nous to navigate the tricky waters and follow a perfect process.

I'm not affording anyone excuses.. but I reckon at a guess 99% of young 20yo girls would've gone to the police instead of the local news.

"Expertise and nous" knock it off, doesn't take either to know their are proper avenues than ringing up the news crew.
