Agreed, but I’m glad we are standing up to them at least
Me too, and if SPP truly believes he is innocent and/or the clubs vision backs that up then why would anyone at Queen St sign off on a penalty that will taint SPP's name for ever more?

I heard a little piece on SEN last night and it sounds as though the footage isn’t 100% reliable and the AFL after interviewing the girl and her friends have chose to believe their version of events. Where is the AFLPA in all of this?

And Port think they can fight the AFL on this one.
I've chosen to keep my opinion out of this debate but there's one question that keeps circulating in my head, how the hell did Wayne Carey ever get to play?

The AFL turns a blind eye to its assets
What makes me sick is when Carey weighs in on these matters, and takes the moral high ground.. like you ******* hypocrite shut the hell up!

What makes me sick is that Carey is a commentator.
All of my life I've heard it said "you don't hit women. Men who do that are dogs". Yet, we let him commentate. And, in reality, I see everyday blokes remain friends with blokes who've abused women - they don't get shunned at all.
It disgusts me.
* Sorry, I know this is a tangent.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
I agree with you here. He's working for Channel 7 in a reasonable position at the moment, and its amazing he is employed. Its crazy really, then he has had a disagreement with Kane Cornes - Who I do agree is a massive fricken knob and a disgrace of a "Journalist" , but he is talking about not only having works but talking about how things almost became physical. You are a professional, employed as a professional, whilst Kane does need a kick in ass, you all are not a bunch of teenagers in the school yard. Tremendous example for all. At least he's not out there glassing his girlfriend.

I would have thought this was probably he case. Good question about the AFLPA, nowhere to be seen at the moment.
