Only on the diet cokes my big chunky friend. If he was only on the diet cokes, he would've been let into Kilburn before April 1st. Very appropriate
Surely a $1000 fine having the extra large hair spray being put on before the game. This is Kilburn FFS where men and are men and they don't use hair spray before the game. Shame.....shame......shame Kyle Parks. At least it was 25% extra hair spray

Went down to have a look at the Mitcham v Eastern Park game. Was interested in seeing how Mitcham with a new caoch went aginst a side that smashed Salisbury and Mitcham coming off a 10 goal beating the week before.
With conditions ie the wind making it difficult I thought Eastern Park with their bigger bodies on Mitchams smallish deck would get the chocolates. First quarter EP were all over Mitcham and to only kick 1-7 with 3 that hit the post they prob didnt take their chances and Mitcham hung in there. EP's coach was not happy at 1/4 time giving them a fair bake. EP really should have been 4-5 goals up.
I thought Mitchams young players prob took control of the game and I think on bigger decks EP will struggle as they have alot of solid players. Highlight was the battle of the 2 Ruckmen. I dont think either of them can actually get off the ground. Both big solid ruckmen.
overall I thought it was a good game. Skills due to the weather lacked at times with shots from 10-20m out in front missing and a couple of kicks actually rolling along the ground.
A couple of stupid undisciplined things by EP. Clipping a few Mitcham boys behind play or when they have just got rid of it. One silly EP player had a free in the goalsquare only to give the Mitcham player a cheapy and got sent off and the ball reversed.
CLG by about 3 goals over Pooraka. Looked like the bulls ran out of legs after being up by 2 goals at 3/4 time. Bloody good side though, they will take some scalps this year.

Use ran all over us in the last, we just couldn’t stop the run. And kicking 1.7 in the first didnt help our cause at the end.
[quote="Two Hard Basket"]Scum from Kilburn at it again, can’t see the side lasting if they keep that up
I hope the Mitcham bloke is alright...I hear he had 10 stitches to the chin and a broken jaw. Disgraceful hit by the kilburn bloke. Should have been red carded and then rubbed out for weeks.

He smothered the ball? The umpire said to him and I quote, you went for the ball and were mid air, there wasn't much you could do about it.
Mitcham outplayed us in every aspect yesterday but to call us scum after you boys were the ones sniping us all game, that bloke deserved more than 10 stiches, it was lucky our wingman ran thro him not parko or scully, the bloke wouldnt be able to talk properly again

You are one of the reasons why this stuff happens saying someone deserved more than 10 stitches. I hope your a player with all your bravado! These guys have jobs & dont live off footy in most cases. Some of you supporters are a disgrace the way you carry on. As a parent i just wonna see good hard clean footy with no injuries!
In fairness the scuffle that started in the crowd was because a Mitchan supporter was being a bit over the top. When one of the Kilburn supporters told him to shut up he got lippy and the guys son stepped in. Interestingly your supporter went quiet after that. No one goes out to put people hospital and that is the last thing we want to happen. Everyone forgets at the end of the day it is just a game that is supposed to be enjoyed by players and supporters in the right spirit unfortunately that is forgotten from AFL all the way to grassroots level. I do hope the guy recovers quickly and it doesn’t affect his life away from footy too much.
