Bedges arrow..
My target - Jarrad Schar.

Poor guy try’s hard, the former Rosewater ruck, best thing that club got was him leaving... gold
Medal for diving trying to milk free kicks.. **** mate for a big fella you sure do fall in a heap quick!

Shit if you folded clothes as quick as you fold you’d be a dream house wife.

Issue I have though is, for someone who falls to the ground crying like a baby so often, you’re real comfortable throwing filthy elbows behind play every chance you get.. you’re soft and I hope you enjoy your red card - prob deserved 4!

Finally, we can all except average sportsmanship like you displayed, but those who have a degree of testicular fortitude at least make an effort to shake hands after the game and not go off crying like a Nancy boy.. no decorum.

Come say hi when you play us.. let’s see if you have enough balls when you’re not bottom of a pack

Your an attention seeking embarsement. The minute you start to use down syndrome as an insult you lose all credibility with me. Cbc’s jumper, name, logo & a bloke who plays for free kicks arent the ones who should be embarresed you should be. Grow up.

Oh dear, how ever will I sleep at night knowing I’ve lost the credibility of some random bloke on the internet!

For the record, it’s spelt embarrassment. Learn how to spell you peanut.

I’ll admit, the DS call was a little over the top and uncalled for.. but he certainly is an ugly duck.

D5R - Smithfield v Ingle Farm

Two rounds in and experienced both ends of the weather spectrum - round one a hot sunny 30 degrees, hard work. Then roll out Saturday to strong winds, rain and a heavy ground.

Kudos to Smithfield in both grades on the wins - did enough, led the B grade from start to finish. Smith up forward proved a difficult match up, and Nathan Ruskin along with Juane Gray were in everything early on. We were able to control Grays influence but the Panthers pressure around the ball and physicality ensured we coughed it up time and time again.

Smithfield look a better organised side from when I faced them last in D6, you can see they have a purpose and structure about how they try and play, and they set up their basic defensive zone well, and are good at moving the game quickly, and taking advantage. Our guys were too slow to react at times, and allowed them multiple fast breaks on the wings, and their forward line was a difficult match up of size and pace, which kept us under the pump.

Basic skill errors hurt my side terribly, missing set shots directly in front from 15m away is pathetic. missing handball targets, trying to soccer the ball and having fresh air kicks.. shocking to watch. Too many soft cocks in my side who are afraid to get their hair messed and hands dirty. Didn't want to tackle, didn't want to be tackled, didn't want to be there.

Left the game somewhat frustrated - sincerely felt it was a game that we could've won, and we butchered so many opportunities - and easy opportunities. Losing so many players this season is no excuse, but it does expose our lack of depth at the moment, a lot of guys in my side are still genuine C graders. If we were in D6 still, it wouldn't be as bad, they'd fit in more comfortably, but the step up is highlighting their deficiencies even more and makes life difficult.

Lot of my players need to have a look in the mirror and ask themselves some tough questions, the insipid performance, work rate and effort produced Saturday is simply not acceptable.

Well done to the Panther, solid win - half glad Nisbet injured his hammy, didn't have a match up for him at all, and he was constantly leading his opponent by a good 5m+ on the lead. Darcy Young was very good through the midfield as well I thought, and Jessee Catlin, Nick Pryzibilia and Shane Richards were instrumental across half back.

Also Darcy Brooks efforts on Matt Augustyn were pivotal.

After two rounds of competition, looking over the results from this weekend, I think the top 5 is as good as set already. Probably an outlandish call given we have 16 weeks to play, but it's clear there is a large gap between the top half and lower half.

Pulteney - beat Ingle Farm by 153 and then 15pt victors over CBC who are the other favs in this comp. On dry days, and big grounds, you'd think they'd handle sides below with the same disdain as Ingle Farm Rd 1.

Lockleys - beat BOS round 1, then 82 point victors in the wet over Hope Valley. Hope Valley 49 point loss in round 1 to Woody South after being into it up to their necks until 3/4 time, indicates whilst off the pace, there is not as great a gap to Woody South as Lockleys.

Heccies beat Smithfield, then lost a close one to Woody South, whereas Smithfield won a close one over Ingle Farm who were pumped Rd 1.

Kenilworth from all reports are handy enough, just a matter of getting all troops on deck fit and getting a solid 4 qtr effort, they could contest for the 5 but wouldn't want to leave the run too late.

Smithifeld, Hectorville, Hope Valley, Kenilworth and Ingle Farm judging by results all seem to be quite similar.

Depth will be the key come the colder months, but i'll stand by my call - top 5 is set.

Ok,why's that?

I dunno. Just don't want me telling the world about how Ingle Farm played lol.

Cheers for the hospitality Saturday, and the jugs of beer after the game went down a treat!

Your ground was in absolute pristine condition, absolute belter, just shame the rain made it heavier, but drained really well still as well.

I've never seen it muddy in nearly 40 years.

It used to get a little churned up in between CHF & FF at Andersons Walk end at trainings but that was when there were about a dozen teams using it and caning that area, would clear up by the weekend though.
