I'm not a Crows supporter but gee he does some impressive things. Such clean hands and such a quick mind. He's a super player.

Some have questioned his commitment to the contest but he put his body on the line a couple of times tonight

A couple of SAFooty posters questioned his commitment earlier in the season - very unfairly I thought at the time. Look up some thread comparing VB and Surgan from the Power.

The guy is a star. Never really took much notice of him but some of what i saw tonight made me take notice. He is a class act and any side would be happy to have a player like him.

Most people think once Mcleod, Goodwin, Riccuito and Edwards are gone the Crows will have no midfield. Van Berlo is very similar to Kane Cornes and will be a great attacking tagger. With Scott Thompson winning the hard ball and Chris Knights as the link player, I think the Crows midfield is looking good for the future. Add players like Douglas, Porplizia and Campbell, I think the crows are in better shape than most think!!!!!!

Real potential and could be rewarded next season with a leadership role. The Crows need to look forward (not 2 years - but 5) and give players such as him the roles.

I don't think you have seen much of Van Berlo NFC. If u think he is just a 'receiver' you have sh*t for brains. Van berlo is a gutsy young lad who set up numerous goals for the crows tonight by winning contested possession. Maybe you should watch a match before you have your good laugh. Clown!!!!!!!!!!

last year at the Gabba

in to time on in the last qtr, the crows had the game easily won and van berlo backs in to a marking contest and breaks his collar bone, courage has never been an issue with this Kid, those that raise it as an issue are snipping
