Glad to keep you blokes on your toes.
To be clear, I care very deeply about the environment, but think the current methods for "recycling" (quotes are on purpose)) are inherently flawed, both in terms of efficiency and probity.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Running round like a blue arsed fly with the kids for their after school activites when the missus calls and says she's lost her keys. Good day to have driven into town instead of catching the bus as normal. Meet her at the shops near home after she's got the bus and she drops me at Paradise interchange so I can get the bus in to the Entertainment Centre to get the car whilst she gets one of the kids after their stuff finishes. "I may have left the keys in the ignition actually" is making me think their ain't going to be a car when I get there. Sure enough I get to the car (which miraculously hasn't been pinched) , the keys are still in the car and the battery is flat. Spend 15 min waiting to speak to someone at the RAA to be told I could be here for about an hour. For fu*****e, what a c**t of a day.

Luckily the RAA only took 20min, top bloke, got it sorted. I'm biting my tongue at home, the missus knows my mood is as black as a dogs guts.

A mate once left his VL Commodore Wagon running, yes, RUNNING when we got to Adelaide Oval for a Test match back in the early 00's.
Late in the day he's started looking for his keys, nowhere to be found, goes back to his car to find a note telling him to go to Adelaide Oval match day office, back then it was still in the back of the old Bradman Stand. Gets there to claim his keys and gets informed a punter walked past his car and found that it was still running. They shut it off, locked it up, left and note and handed in the keys.
It was his 50th late last year and he was down from Brisbane for it, this and some other cracking stories about his escapades were recounted. Good times.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
He's one of the worst drunks the world has ever seen. He goes from 4 beers and all good to 6 beers and he's got a red nose and over sized shoes on.
We once threw him down into the old under ground keg room at the West Thebby Hotel on a big night with the cricket club and, sadly, forgot about him.
He's woken up wee hours of the morning completely disorientated and somehow managed to find the stairs up into the front bar of the pub, this has set the alarm off and old Rick and the Dragon have come down with the .22 to investigate only to find said mate sitting at the bar waiting to be served.

So you don't participate because, in your expert opinion, it's not worth doing?

I had a VH commodore that I used to leave the keys in it and windows down on the road, I lived on Fletcher Road Largs Bay 2 doors down from a busy deli and directly across the road from a chemist and post office, not once did anyone even go in it.

Lets be honest...keys in the ignition and unlocked, or locked up like fort knox, a VB-VL commodore is always going to get stolen if they want to steal it
