Absolutely I do, means I spend less time at the recycling depot when I do go and the bloke and his Mrs go out of their way to help me as they know I've helped them.
I go hardly anywhere as much as I used to before I started the U Brew It / reusing the bottles for my beer process.
I do similar Mr.Boon, all cans, bottles and the like are sorted and counted before I go down there. I give them a list of what I've got and I'm out of there within a couple of minutes. Quicker for me, easier for them, they always say thanks for separating them.
I know a retiree who knows where to go to get empties and when to go there. He swears it’s only 3-4 hours work, 3 days a week. He makes $300 out of it on top of his pension.

My old man used to be on a good wicket as a truck driver and there were certain festivals where he'd take annual leave day off when it finished so he could fill his car and boat with cans and clean up nicely.

Yep, same here - lids off plastics, glass separated into clear, brown. & green, beer/cider cans separated from soft drinks. Back in their original cartons or in tubs/bags of 50 & 100.
Similar just recently did a tray full of my ute separated into glass colour. The deopt just counted the cartons times by 24 or 30 and the boss multiplied by $0.10. Bang out in 5 minutes.....probably waited longer to get to the front of the queue.
