You’re missing out. You never need to dry the dishes, and if you have good dishwashing tablets it will clean really well.

Another thing that is often overlooked is that the dishes aren’t in the sink - so it makes the house look a lot cleaner when you stack all the dirty dishes into the dishwasher

Without sounding gay, which tablets do you use?

I more often than not just hand wash them as I don't find many of them do a great job, everyone in the house rinses their stuff off first but I can't put any plastic stuff in the dishwasher either as it ends up in another spot and doesn't dry properly.

I only endorse Finish.

For the dishwasher liquid thingy though, most home brands do the trick - although the Aldi brand I find gives a better sparkle, not a fan of the woolies one.

A good deep watering and a mow once a week, every week.

Everyone on my street in our nice little estate does that and their lawns look dead while mine looks green with 1/4 of the effort.

Also a good idea to change the direction you mow from time to time. This encourages the blades to stand more upright and not have a tendency to lean a particular direction.

An upright glass 3/4 filled with white vinegar for a cycle once a week does the same trick too.

I love loading the humble dishwasher; it's a bloke's go-to chore when he can't be ****** doing something else.

I meant at work, our kitchen nazi at work is a very angry woman at times.

I wont let anyone else at home go near our dishwasher, my OCD kicks in big time.

We're currently sans dishwasher, as we're waiting for our landlord to replace it.

I don't enjoy doing them manually.
